Membership & Access

Is there a staff member on site?

No. CGL operates as a fully automated private club. You enter using the TrackMan app on your phone, your bay is pre-loaded and ready, and your session ends automatically at the scheduled time. There is no front desk, no check-in, and no tipping.

How do I get in?

Download the TrackMan app, create your account, and your membership grants you digital access to the facility. When you arrive for your booking, simply open the app and enter. It works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Can I visit without a membership?

Yes — through our introductory session. For $65 + HST you get 60 minutes in a private TrackMan IO bay, available any day before 5pm, one session per person. If you join within 7 days, the $65 is credited toward your first month.

What is the difference between Practice and Core?

Practice members have access any day before 5pm — perfect for retirees, flexible workers, and anyone who prefers daytime golf. Core members have full 24/7 access including evenings and weekends after 5pm, plus double the weekly hours. The upgrade from Practice to Core is $154/month more.

What is the minimum commitment?

Three months. After your initial 3-month term, membership continues month-to-month. To cancel, provide 30 days written notice. There are no initiation fees and no cancellation penalties beyond the minimum term.

What happens if I cancel?

Your membership ends at the close of your notice period. If you wish to rejoin later, you will be placed on the waitlist and offered a spot when one becomes available. Cancellation is permanent — your previous spot is not held.

Can I freeze my membership?

No. CGL does not offer membership freezes. If you need to pause, you may cancel with 30 days notice and rejoin via the waitlist when a spot is available.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my tier?

Yes. Email us with your requested tier change. Changes take effect the following month, subject to availability in the requested tier. There are no fees for tier changes.

Is there a waitlist?

Yes. If your preferred tier is at capacity, you can join the waitlist. We will notify you when a spot becomes available and you will have 48 hours to confirm before the offer moves to the next person.

Booking & Sessions

How far in advance can I book?

Advance booking windows vary by tier. Practice members can book 3 days in advance. Core members 7 days. Founder members 14 days. Corporate members 7 days per user.

How many bookings can I hold at once?

Practice members can hold 1 active booking at a time. Core members 2. Founder members 3. Corporate users 2 each. You can book up to your remaining weekly hour allocation across those slots.

What is the minimum and maximum session length?

Minimum session is 1 hour. Maximum is 4 hours. Sessions are booked in 1-hour increments. A 4-hour session comfortably accommodates a full 18-hole round with up to 4 players.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your session. Late cancellations and no-shows result in the hours being deducted from your weekly allocation. There are no exceptions — the system enforces this automatically.

Can I bring guests?

Yes. All membership tiers include complimentary guest access. Guests must be accompanied by the member for the entire session and must sign a digital waiver at the time of booking. Each bay accommodates up to 4 players including the member. Guest hours count against the member’s weekly allocation. Practice tier guests are welcome during Practice access hours — any day before 5pm.

Do unused hours roll over?

No. Weekly hours reset each week. Unused hours do not carry forward. Plan your sessions accordingly.

What happens if I arrive late?

Your session ends at the originally scheduled time regardless of arrival. Please arrive on time to make the most of your booking.

The Technology

What is TrackMan IO?

TrackMan IO is a dual-radar launch monitor system mounted to the ceiling of each bay. It tracks every shot with Tour-grade accuracy — measuring ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, carry distance, and shot shape. It is the same technology used by PGA Tour professionals and elite club fitters worldwide.

What can I do during a session?

TrackMan IO supports a full range of modes including driving range practice with shot analytics, simulation play on 300+ world-famous courses, skills challenges and games, and club fitting data collection. Your shot data is saved automatically to your TrackMan profile.

Do I need a TrackMan account?

A TrackMan account is recommended but not required. With an account, all your shot data, performance history, and course scores are saved automatically. Without one, you can use the simulator in guest mode — no data is saved between sessions.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?

Yes. CGL does not offer club rentals. Members and guests should bring their own clubs. Soft spikes or clean athletic shoes are required to protect the turf surface in each bay.

The Facility

What are your hours?

CGL is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Because we are fully automated, there are no staffed hours or restricted access windows. Practice tier members have access any day before 5pm. All other tiers have full 24/7 access.

Where are you located?

65 Denzil Doyle Court, Unit 107, Kanata, Ontario. We are located in the Kanata/Stittsville area, easily accessible from the tech corridor and surrounding communities

Is there parking?

Yes. Two short-term parking spaces are available directly in front of the club for arrivals and departures. Additional parking is available approximately 2–3 minutes walk away.

Is there food and drink available?

We offer complimentary premium coffee and hot chocolate via a bean-to-cup machine in the lounge area. CGL does not serve food, alcohol, or additional beverages. We are a performance club, not a restaurant.

What is the dress code?

Golf casual. Collared shirts are encouraged. Soft spikes or clean athletic shoes are required. Open-toe footwear is not permitted.

Is the facility accessible?

Yes. The facility is designed to be accessible. Please contact us in advance if you have specific accessibility requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.

Founder Membership

What is a Founder membership?

Founder is our presale tier for the first 20 members of CGL. Founders receive 5 hours per week, 14-day advance booking windows, full 24/7 access, a branded CGL ball cap, their name on the Founder Wall in the lounge, and a rate guarantee through December 2028 — all at the same $309/month price as Core.

How do I become a Founder member?

Founder memberships require a 3-month prepay of $932 + HST. They are available on a first come first served basis and are strictly limited to 20 members. Once the 20 spots are filled, the Founder tier is permanently closed.

Can I give a Founder membership as a gift?

Yes. A Founder membership makes an exceptional Father’s Day, birthday, or holiday gift. We provide a physical gift certificate on heavy stock with the CGL brass diamond mark. A digital PDF is also available. Contact us to arrange a gift purchase.

What does the rate guarantee mean?

Founder members are guaranteed their $309/month rate through December 2028, regardless of any price increases CGL may implement for other tiers. After December 2028, Founder members will move to the prevailing Core rate.

Corporate Membership

What does a Corporate membership include?

Each Corporate membership includes 2 named users, each with their own TrackMan profile and login, 3 hours per week each, 7-day advance booking, and 2 simultaneous bookings per user. Billing is a single monthly invoice of $599 + HST.

Can corporate users bring guests?

Yes. Corporate users have the same guest privileges as other members — guests are complimentary, must be accompanied by the member, and hours count against the user’s weekly allocation.

Can we add more than 2 users to a Corporate membership?

No. Corporate memberships are for 2 named users only. Additional users would require a separate membership. Corporate memberships are capped at 10 total
